Due to new state-of-the-art "high sensitivity antenna" technology, this unit is completely self contained, including 4 standard "AA" batteries that power the unit for up to 3 months. Of course, if you prefer a permanent installation, connection using a hardwire kit is also available.

INSTALLS IN SECONDS: Once activated, the TrimTracker Extreme - Real Time GPS Vehicle Tracker can be installed just about anywhere in the vehicle, under seat, in glove box, or any other convenient location. (Not recommend for use in a trunk.)

A. The TrimTracker can update as often as every 45 seconds or as infrequent as 15 minutes. See the Service Plans above regarding update frequency. When logging into the website click locate to get a current position of the TrimTracker plus you will also see the last 120 locations of the unit.

Q. What are the dimensions and weight of the TrimTracker?
A. Size is 5.78" x 2.99" x 1.44" (143.3 mm x 76.2 mm x 36.7 mm) without the COVERT case and 8.5" x 4.75" x 2" with the COVERT case. Weight is 205 grams (7.2 oz) not including batteries and 300 grams (10.2 oz) with 4 AA alkaline batteries.

Q. What is the total cost of activation?
A. $59.95 one-time activation fee.

Q. Are there any contracts to be signed?
A. This unit requires a minimum of 3 months prepaid for one of the above service plans. There are no contracts. You can cancel at anytime.
